Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often enhances its extras. The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for. Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause. Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health. There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next success is being rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted. Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money. In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level.
